Belmont Forum’s collaborative research call on the theme: Towards Sustainability of Soils and Groundwater for Society (Soils 2020).

2020 年釋出的第一個 CRA 為 "Towards Sustainability of Soils and Groundwater for Society"。

We are delighted to inform everyone on the launching of Belmont Forum’s collaborative research call on the theme: Towards Sustainability of Soils and Groundwater for Society.

Belmont Forum (BF) is a partnership of funding organizations, international science councils, and regional consortia committed to the advancement of sustainable science. Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) is one of the full members. The BF has developed Collaborative Research Actions (CRAs) calling for proposals, and "Towards Sustainability of Soils and Groundwater for Society" is the first CRA in 2020. After international review, MOST will support the project. (Proposer must be qualified to submit a project to MOST.)

The main considerations of the study are as follows.

1. International cooperation: Each proposal must consist of a project co-developed by researchers that are from at least three countries and entitled for support from funding organizations participating in the CRA. (A total of 9 funders, including MOST, have participated for this call.)

2. Transdisciplinarity: To integrate our knowledge from stakeholders, nature, humanities, and social sciences into transdisciplinary solutions for specific actions.

Details of the call and the application process are provided via the application portal https://reurl.cc/3Dbp7M

Registration Due: 23 July 2020, 13:59 UTC
