The Urban Working Group of Future Earth Taipei is preparing for the upcoming Taiwan Urban Sustainability Research Retrospective and Prospective Workshop. To make the process of this workshop more efficient, the convener Dr. Shu-Li Huang (Graduate Institute of Urban Planning of National Taipei University) and the consultant Dr. Hsin-Huang Michael Hsiao (Research Center for Humanities and Social Science, Academia Sinica), Dr. Sue-Ching Jou (Department of Geography, National Taiwan University), Dr. Tsung-Chen Lee (Department of Economics, National Taipei University) And Dr. Keng-Ming Hsu (Department of Social and Public Affairs, University of Taipei) jointly analyzed and discussed the content and structure of the workshop, and divided the content into four major topics as the basis for grouping the workshop which are: A. accelerate transition pathways; B. ensure equity and inclusivity; C. negotiate complexity and interdependency; D. navigate global environmental change.
