International cross-disciplinary collaboration is a global trend in sustainability science, yet researchers at an early-career stage are often short of relevant resources to enable them to meaningfully engage with these trends. In this series, we invite coordinators of early-career networks in sustainability science from international academic organisations, as well as participants in early-career academia initiatives to share their experiences in establishing networks and engaging peers in associated activities. Accordingly, we will develop an action plan and establish international collaboration networks. This series will be held online in dialogue format. Researchers who are interested in this activity are all welcome to participate.
The Young Academy of Scotland was established by the Royal Society of Edinburgh in 2011 to provide a platform for innovative young professionals from all areas of academia, business, third sector organisations and public life, to work together to address the most challenging issues facing society in Scotland and beyond. In this dialogue, we invite the Sustainability theme lead - Dr. Maria Dornelas - and the Zero Carbon lead - Dr. Leslie Mabon - to share their experiences in promoting sustainability and climate actions.
