Nobel laureate Dr. Hasselmann is the pioneer to prove unequivocal human influence on the climate system. Over 40 years, Dr. Hasselmann’s model for identifying natural phenomena vs. human activity signals has greatly improved our understanding of climate variability and how to connect changeable and chaotic weather to climate. His work provides the essential foundation to prove that global warming is due to anthropogenic greenhouse gasses emission. This forum is organized by Future Earth Global Secretariat Hub (GSH) Taipei and co-organized by Taipei Representative Office in Hamburg, Germany; Center for Sustainability Science, Academia Sinica; Future Earth Taipei; Future Earth GSHs of Japan, China and South Asia.
