#HealthEffects from environmental changes including climate change, ocean acidification, land degradation, water scarcity, overexploitation of fisheries, and biodiversity loss pose serious challenges to the global health gains of the past several decades and are likely to become increasingly dominant. These striking trends are driven by highly inequitable, inefficient, and unsustainable patterns of resource consumption and technological development, together with population growth.
⭐️We will invite Dr. Anthony Capon——an internationally recognised public health physician and authority on environmental health and health promotion——to give a talk about human health on 17 Nov. Dr. Capon will identify challenges that have to be addressed to maintain and enhance human health in the face of increasingly harmful environmental trends.
環境變遷對健康的影響——包括氣候變遷、海洋酸化、土地退化、水資源短缺、漁業過度開發，以及生物多樣性減少等——對過去幾十年的全球健康發展帶來嚴重挑戰，並且可能變得愈來愈關鍵。這些引人注目的趨勢是由高度不公平、低效和不永續的資源消耗和技術發展模式以及人口增長所驅動！▶▶▶如何應對挑戰、保護人類健康，邀請您一同來關注與探討！
