How are #UrbanLandscapes associated with #MentalHealth? This presentation answers the question through a study based on high-resolution building density and height data derived from machine learning of satellite time-series data. Linkage with residential and mental health records allows capturing individual longitudinal exposure to urban form and estimating relative risks for developing depressive disorders. These results highlight how #AI and #SatelliteImagery analysis can deepen understanding of urban mental health and reveal ways for urban planning to improve it.
